Tengu-geddon plz Helicity?

Nashh made his way down the main KBG hangar, repair and logistics crews buzzed around. Times where good, efficiency was up and kills came in aplenty.

The mile long hangar was filled with combat vessels of different sizes, all were ready for action at a moments notice. Although well stocked it couldn't compare to Nashh's private hangar which had steadily grown to keep Baggins happy, or at least he tried.

A lead engineer briefly requested Nashh's attention to sign for a new delivery.

'I haven't ordered or authorized any new purchases...' Nashh scrolled down the pad to see it had been Anabaric's order; Scimitar, fuel, ammo... He sighed; 'fine, for fuck's sake...'

'Just doing my job gov'ner' the engineer muttered under his breath.

Before Nashh could lose his temper a high pitched bleep came from an inside pocket, it was the call he had been waiting for. Pulling out his Neo-com he nodded for the engineer to move along; 'Carry on!' he ordered.

'Hans! how are you buddy?'

The response was crackled and came with a slight delay, nothing unusual as Hans was deep in wormhole space.

'Hey boss, just ringing to let you know this weeks loot has been delivered in Amarr'. 'Beaute said you wanted to talk to me?'

'Yeah just a heads up for you guys, the loot-sales are dropping slightly in value, the market is flooded at the moment'. 'Nothing to worry about though, we are still pulling in four billion a week'.

'Aye no worries...'

The connection broke off briefly, and static noise replaced Hans's deep voice.

'Hans?'

-crackle-

'...still here Colonel, what I was saying is that we should hope for some more haulers being destroyed in Jita with Wormhole loot...'

Nashh smiled; 'Yeah that would drive the price up nicely'.

The connection had turned to static again.

Nashh turned off the Neo-com and slipped it back into an inside pocket.

'Supply and demand' he muttered to himself... 'supply and demand hey...'

-o0o-

'Aaaargh! Cunts!' The Gallentean shouted as he burst into the quiet bar.

'Calm down Paul, sit down, have a drink' the bartender urged the raging patron. It were days like this where he hated his job.

Paul sat himself down, flicking his wet hair back before downing the drink that was swiftly arranged for him. 'Another!' he barked, 'Fuck!'.

Antoine the barkeep had known Paul for two years now. In between missions Paul would occasionally come in and talk big tales of combat and riches, his favorite subject other than himself was his Tengu class Strategic Cruiser; 'Amora'. Antoine hated men like him.

After downing another drink Paul seemed calm enough to explain his rage.

'Those fucking shits blew up Amora' Paul started to explain, 'and fucking podded me!'

Antoine smiled on the inside but hid it with a surprised look.

'Right here in high-security space! Can you fucking believe it!?'

'That is unusual indeed, what happened?'

Paul sat back for a moment and appeared to think. 'Well the logs show a small pack of outlaw Thrashers where responsible but that makes no sense, they must have been real professionals...Shadow Cartel or something like that, ever heard of them?'

Antoine refilled Paul's glass. 'They must have been...and lots of them too I bet, twenty, thirty maybe?'

'Six!' Nashh Kadavr had approached the bar unnoticed. 'Six beers please barkeep'. Five others had come in behind Nashh and noisily shuffled some chairs around a table. Maax leant back on the chairs hind-legs and put his grubby boots on the table, Ghazi proceeded to roll a cigarette containing illegal substances.

'Howdy...' Nashh whispered to Paul.

Paul didn't finish his drink before leaving abruptly.

Antoine smiled; 'On the house gentlemen...'

50/50

'Nashh? What the fuck are you doing?''

-0-

Anabaric had walked straight into the CEO's office against the secretaries recommendations. Nashh Kadavr had been very specific about 'not being disturbed' and had not answered any calls for two days now. He had not been seen leaving his office for a few days, not that unusual but not answering calls from Anabaric was.

Major Anabaric was very capable of taking care of the corporation all by himself and in many cases was left to do so. There wasn't usually any need for him to contact Nashh at all, however, when he does ring it means it's worth answering the call.

Nashh had ignored him for two days, something must be wrong. Kadavr had a history of drugs and alcohol abuse and was known to occasionally slip from his intended sobriety. And when he does...

Nashh Kadavr and Anabaric had spend a lot of time together lately, even more since Acute had disappeared. Officer Ana was as annoyed as he was worried before making the call to bust into his office.

'You can't go in there, Mr Kadavr doesn't want to be disturbed'.

Anabaric didn't even look at the Archura secretary as he swerved passed her desk. He pushed open the door and was greeted by the bitter smell of stale coffee and sweat. He shut the door behind him.

Nashh stood over by the far wall with his back to the door. He was staring at handwritten calculations of some kind.

Nashh's Goinard office was not to dissimilar in setup from the one he had in Dal, although this Gallente station was a little more spacious and modern, had more curves and lighting. The left hand wall had full length projections of market-orders and complex schematics on what appeared to be moon-goo reactions.

There was an entertainment system on of some sort but whatever it had been playing had finished and a gentle static noise came through the speakers in the corners of the room.

-0-

'Nashh? What the fuck are you doing?''

Anabaric walked over and nudged Nashh to get a response. 'Nashh?'

Nashh muttered something incoherent and remained fixated on the writing on the wall.

Anabaric stood back for a moment to realize the entire wall was covered in writing and drawings.

'Jezus fucking...Nashh!' Ana shoved his friend, making his face connect with the wall.

'WHAT?!' Damn, fucksakes, you prick! Nashh shouted back. 'What, mate, what?' Nashh looked at Anabaric with bloodshot eyes, obvious sleep depravation had formed dark grey rings around his eye-sockets.

What are you doing and why didn't you answer my calls? Ana paused to regard the ink on the wall again before adding; 'and what's up with this shit?'.

'Moon-Goo' Nashh grinned.

Anabaric had seen that crazed grin before. It either meant Nashh had a genuine moment of brilliance or there was imminent catastrophic disaster, usually the latter.

'Please, do fill me in' Ana rolled his eyes.

With auto-cannon speed Nashh rattled out the basics on the reactions possible with the available materials, their values, the location of existing Towers, their defenses, the connections required and a basic cost break-out. Depicting his findings Nashh paced up and down the wall pointing out schematics. as he enthusiastically expelled the contents of his mind.

'Nashh, you are basically saying that this here could turnover 50 billion a year but with the volatile cost and sell price of the components you produce and require this could result in what?'

'A profit or a loss of-course you moron. '

Anabaric looked at the disheveled and deranged man in front of him. 'Right, gotcha, very clever Nashh, very clever'.

The sarcasm clearly didn't register in Nashh's brain.

'And the odds then buddy? You have worked it out in a complex risk assessment somewhere on the wall here right?'

'Yeah' Nashh gloated as he sipped some cold coffee 'like with everything in life its gonna work or fail 50/50...'

Celebrity Death Match #26; Tyrrax Thorrk

The celebrity

Tyrrax Thorrk, a legend of old. Possibly the inventor of most eve scams and betrayals, possibly behind most of them himself in some way or another.

Selling and reselling his super-capital several times over made him famous alone but becoming appointed CEO of his target alliance before robbing them blind would top that for sure.

And of course Tyrrax is the person, the only one, to have had a unique ship destroyed (amongst other rare items) The Gold Magnate, one of a kind famously piloted by Tyrrax was wiped out resulting in some of the most discussed forum threads in eve history. Love and hate for him intermixed, some wanting the rare items stored and secure, some glad it had seen action. And finally Tyraxx heads up the Guilding hand social club, it's members, official or not are responsible for some of the greatest cons in EVE known to date.

Preparations

As usual I agreed to meet the celeb in the location of his choice, regretting that as soon as Tyrrax explained he lives deep in null-security space. I hate 0.0.

His choice of ship was T1 Frigates, not faction, fitting restrictions were; no damps, no ECM, no faction fittings. The cheap variety suited me well as I was pretty confident I wouldn't even make it to his home-system.

On the morning of the fight-day I set off just before downtime, clearing the first 25 jumps before logging. As soon as I was able to return I continued the remaining 30 jumps, making it all the way to my destination without encountering anyone and only getting stuck in 4 bubbles.

Making a snug safe spot I cloaked up and turned to some admin duties, before logging off.

I returned an hour before our arranged meeting time and lay in wait. D-scan amused me over the following hours as no less than 15 Titans passed through. I waited, and waited. I reminisced some previous CDM's that had resulted in waiting and comforted myself in the fact I once waited for 2 days straight.

After 4 hours however Comms got busy and a small gang was forming led by my trusted right hand man Anabaric and I made the judgement call to abandon. Clearly not keen to traverse the 55 jumps back I self-destructed both my ship and pod.

On contacting Tyrrax the following day he was genuinely apologetic and offered to reschedule and meet at the location of my choice. I initially declined but then contemplated the travel through zerozero and accepted his generous offer.

The fight

After a arduous journey spanning many jumps Tyrrax was reported a jump out from Goinard. Fellow alliance members had been notified of his imminent arrival so they wouldn't attempt shooting him cutting this fight short after all the effort already invested.

Moments later and Tyrrax appeared in the local channel and notified me he was making a safe-spot for us to meet at.

'Ready, warp to me at 0-30, fight on landing'

'Rgr' I replied checking onboard systems one final time before sliding into the vacuum. Pepperspray my shield/ab Rifter was overloaded with more ammo and repair-paste I could possibly need.

Pepperspray is a DPS monster with decent speed, not slowed by armor plates or armor repairers. She also sports a tracking enhancer to get more true DPS. She has surprised many a frigate by out-damaging repair modules and making up for less tank by it's sheer destructive power.

Still unsure of what Mr Thork would be piloting I spammed the Directional scanner as soon as I entered warp, a Rifter. Let's hope he gets within range I wished as I pre-heated all active modules.

As the warp-tunnel closed up behind me I was alone, I franticly looked around me before realizing I had not included fleet members to my overview.

Swiftly correcting my mistake the fight had begun, Tyrrax's speedy Rifter appeared out of nowhere and raced passed my rustbucket, sling-shotting immediately back towards me.

Weapons hot and firing, superheated Phased Plasma shells and Rockets crashed into Tyraxx.
On his return loop and firing his own cannons Mr Thorrk struck deep into my shield buffer, obliterating 25% of it's integrity.

A flurry of damage dealing blows was exchanged before I realized my opponents speed had dropped significantly. In fear of me bringing a kiting fit Kestrel, Tyrrax Thork had fitted a MWD and my scram had disabled it.

Rockets and shells powered through his armor as my shields broke and revealed the thin layers underneath.

But it was too late, held together by duck-tape and a damage control the fight ended abruptly as Tyrrax violently exploded, only wreckage and dust remained as his pod fled the scene.

A short and brutal fight marking CDM's 26th edition. GF!

Battle summery;
Our bait Phoenix nearly completed it's third and final siege cycle with only minimal interest from the local inhabitants. As we where about to recall the Phoenix and abandon the project to commence a roam a covert cyno was lit; 20 clicks from the starboard side, ejecting 4 Stealth Bombers.

Shortly after an Arazu Recon class cruiser de-cloaked and also commenced aggression on the apparently stricken Dreadnought.

Local spikes and enemy numbers increase rapidly; Battlecruisers, Battleships and a Tengu exit warp just off the Bow of the giant bait vessel.

Suddenly; (10101) and (-KBG-) enter the field, spreading points, calling the Tengu primary. The initial counterstrike confused the opposing fleet causing some to disband and flee, those that stayed where swiftly slain.

Unorganized and in disarray several combatants warp back to the field at range, mistaking the length a boosted Recons point range, falling and exploding one by one.

A final push is ordered by the opposing fleet commander and a cloud of enemy vessels return to the center of the fight. A flurry of targets is called, points are spread.

Concentrated fire and good discipline pays off as their numbers dwindle, leaving bright blue flashes and smoke-trails as they are dispatched. Several opposing combatants are stunned, leaving their pods on the field for a few seconds too long.

Few manage to escape due to a shortage in disruptors but the battle fizzles out and as the grey plumes of destruction evaporate the enormity of our destruction becomes clear.

'Type losses in fleet' the demand came. Fleet channel remained silent.

Zero losses for 25 ship kills and 4 pods, totaling a rampage worth in excess of 7.5 billion isk.

Roc Wieler, is that you?

'The Watering Hole' provided a hearty lunch and at least average quality drinks. The place stank but service was provided by young Minmatar girls on roller-skates, which made up for a lot.

Anabaric sat across from him, eating a large platter of steaming chicken wings with his hands. Sauce covered his fingers to the knuckles and his left cheek. He was chewing loudly and only occasionally paused to check out what zoomed by on roller-skates.

'You are a fucking animal mate' Nashh directed at him, before sipping his ale.

'Says you' Commander Ana fired back, spitting out bits of chicken and sauce.

Nashh Kadavr shrugged his shoulders, 'whatever'. 'So, what do you think?'

'Chicken's good, service is good-looking...'

'Not this place you derp, Goinard I mean'.

'I'll let you know, we still need some more numbers, I mean our own if you know what I mean...'

Captain Kadavr raised a quizzical brow, 'I know what you mean'. He looked over at the bar where a broadshouldered, bold Brutor stood, working his charm on the female bartender.

'Well I'll be damned...'

'Whut' Ana spluttered.

'I'll be right back, wait here'.

Nashh slowly made his way over to the bar still not sure if it was actually him or not. He wore that same style leather jacket he had seen him in a few years back, although the letters spelling 'The Colonel' where no longer there. Then again he no longer was...

Arriving at the bar Nashh stood right next him and was about to say something as two young Achura girls pushed in between them and asked for the Brutors signature. Oh, it was definitely him.

The Minmatar combat pilot took two pictures from his left inside pocket and scribbled his signature in the bottom right corner. The picture was of himself, posing and flexing his bulging biceps. The girls giggled and blushed but before they were tempted to hang around any longer Nashh interrupted; 'thanks girls, now how's about fuck off hey...'

The girls scurried along, both men staring at them leaving.'I see you still have your charming touch'.

'As do you my friend', Nashh replied.

'I was being sarcastic'.

'I know', Nashh pointed at the orange liquid in the pint-glass sitting in front of Roc, 'what, the fuck, is that?'.

'Carrot juice brother, it's healthy'.

'What brings you here then? I thought you were dead or retired... well either, same shit, whatever...'

'Same as any self respecting man does Nashh; women, combat, booze and a gym'. Roc laughed aloud as he slapped Nashh's right shoulder whilst sipping his vegetable drink through a straw.

'Well if you are not tied to anything we are still recruiting...'

'So I hear...'

'Right, well maybe we should talk?'

'Maybe we should...'

Slaughter in Jovainon

With an 18 man strong shield fleet and 5 additional support ships -KBG- and Shadow Cartel thundered from Egghelende to Evati, snagging just a few kills on the way.

Several technical issues and mistakes later and the call was made to return to Goinard, our temporary base of operations. Making the wise choice to avoid combat with three roaming fleets around the Evati area.

On return some of us where still keen to score a kill before retiring to bed and I volunteered to lead a shield Battlecruiser gang on an hour loop via Old Man Star.

Most pilots where tired but eager to spill blood. Hearnie kindly offered up his alt to scout ahead freeing me up to set the route for this still unfamiliar area.

Cannonfodder Pope, Luitenenant Junior Grade Caldalra, Commander Anabaric and Captain Kadavr represented the Kadavr Black Guards joined by Hearnie, Chandaris, illirdor and Torrinor of Shadow Cartel.

A lone Hurricane Battlecruiser piloted by a Tusker pirate was spotted flying in the direction of Onne, allowing us plenty of time to setup camp and catch him, spilling first blood only a few jumps into the roam.

The roam continued, narrowly missing out on a few Cynabals before the final swing back towards Aeschee to drop of members of the Douchingtons.

Three pilots in Hevrice, representing the Tuskers, where pushed into a scrap but to no avail and thus we sped on all eager for bed.

Intell notified us of a large HAC gang with logistic support coming down the Goin-Aeschee pipe and I chose to hold back the fleet as we where outnumbered and where sure to perish if we would engage.

Intell piped up again, notifying us a 5 man Tusker gang in Aeshee likely coming our way, all had GCC and where in Battlecruisers, no support.

An excellent opportunity of course but with that large HAC gang on-route and now only two jumps out we needed to act fast.

'Tuskers warping to Jov gate!' our scout reported.

'Roger, fleet warp Aeshee gate, spread points'. This was sure to be the perfect end to our roam. Mid warp the Tusker gang led by Sulli appeared on d-scan and as our fleet emerged from the warp-tunnel they had already moved of the gate. Damn.

In an attempt to catch them on their out-gate I ordered the fleet to warp back to the Hevrice gate. Although still in system the Tuskers where nowhere to be found, this was not their only exit but the shortest route home for sure so we setup camp with Anabaric jumping through to keep eyes on incoming traffic.

Tusker Rixx Javix was first to lose his global criminal status followed soon by the rest of their gang and we prepared for their imminent arrival.

'We could join forces and go after the HAC gang?' Ana suggested and immediately I attempted to contact Sulli regarding this.

With a delayed response followed by a rejection I should have known better. Sulli didn't want to go after the HAC gang; he was making his own preparations to come after us.

'Five Tuskers in Hevrice, not on scan' Anabaric notified me.

A quick headcount confirmed our fleets to be of about equal size, a last ditch attempt to give us the upper-hand by arranging for logistic support failed but by then it was all to late, I committed our gang to stay and fight.

'Check check, Tusker gang incoming, I am jumping back to you.'

I ordered the fleet to align to the sun, microwarpdrives on and deploy drones.

The two Tusker gangs of five each attempted to pincer us at the stargate as Marc Scaurus in a Harbinger was called primary. His shields dropping I asked for confirmed points before calling secondary on their Drake heavy fleet.

The Harbinger pilot managed to warp off in low armor before I realized my mistake; I had powered the fleet too far off the battlefield to effectively hold them down.

Like a house of cards my fleet crumbled around me, swarmed by ECM drones some of our pilots were unable to lock up anything and tracking disrupters hindered our Canes.

'I am going down, minus one Cane'

'Yeah me too, minus one Drake'

I burned myself back to get within point range requesting for points confirmed, hoping to even the odds a little.

The only target pointed was aznwithBeard in his Drake and I immediately called out him to new primary, hoping our remaing DPS could cut him out as the heavily damaged Harbinger returned within my disruptor range.

Douchington illirdor managed to warp off in his heavily damaged Oracle as news came over comms we had lost another Cane to enemy fire.

With myself in the only Hurricane left on the field I was sure to be next and I attempted to burn away, a little too late as two Drakes webbed me down and my fate was sealed.

Warping out my pod I requested for someone to call targets, still in the wrong belief we could down some of their ships.

'Guys? Who is still on the field? Hello?'

'Cal, but I am webbed and pointed'

'Yeah me too' Pope mumbled.

I then realized, too late, I should have bailed our fleet after losing our first two ships and ordered to retreat if possible, saving pods where possible.

'Sorry guys, type losses in fleet-channel please'.

The list extended and comprised nearly the entire fleet, 7 (out of 9) losses for 0 (out of 10) kills.

Annihilated…. Well done Tuskers, awesome scrap.

(Nashh fails...)

Back in the saddle...

The stargate propelled him many lightyears into the next system, the brand new Tengu hull shuddered around him. He smiled, anger and violence coursing through his veins.

'Align bottom station' fleetcommander Baggins calmy notified the fleet. A short pause and the command to warp to zero followed.

The Tengu had not yet been paid for and with his string of frigate and cruiser losses since his return Nashh should probably not be out in a boat of this value. He didn't care.

The warp tunnel enveloped around them, reaching full warp speed before exiting cohesively just above the rust colored Minmatar space-station. At the undock was the target, a Thanatos class Carrier.

'Target deaggressed, target de-agressed' Ghazi informed.

'Approach, overheat, go for bumps' Baggins calmly instructed.

Asakura was the first to make contact, pushing the Thanatos clear from the undock preventing his escape and securing it's downfall.

'Excellent bump!'

A further three carriers undocked in a desperate bid to save their ailing buddy, followed by several battleships. Sustained fire from the 20 man Tier 3 heavy fleet made the support rethink and they chose to re-dock, abandoning the Thanatos to it's fate. A brief standoff followed but it was clear the opposing party had lost the will to fight and thus the fleet thundered on.

A mere few jumps later and the fleet held up 30 clicks from the Todifraun stargate, an opposing fleet was inbound, ship-types and numbers unknown.

'Contact!'

'Drake primary, Raptor secondary, Myrmidon Tertiary, scratch that, Baddon primary..'

'They are bailing, no wait, Drake aggressed!'

'Drake primary, call points guy's.'

Comms fell silent for a moment as each pilots overview filled up, gasps and 'oh shits' where muttered. An estimated 50 man strong Eve Uni fleet rolled out onto the battlefield, mixed class ships of all sizes, supported by a few ECM boats.

There was a fire fight...

A flurry of targets where called, some popping faster than could be targeted. Boosted disrupters grabbing hold of whatever they could as Eve Uni members looked disorganized and some tried to flee. Some valiantly stayed to die with their comrades, lighting up bright blue before fading into nothingness. Some of their braver frigate, destroyer and interceptor pilots barged in making a wondrous mess of things before also exploding and propelling their innards into the vacuum.

As the dust settled on the Todifraun stargate and the field was ours to claim the extend of our success became clear. Zero casualties in return for downing no less than 19 vessels in a 3 minute engagement.

---

The roam continued, engaging Eve Uni once more, claiming a further 5 kills before they tucked in their tails and ran. On route an unfortunate pilot deemed it clever to cyno in a Rhea class jumpfreighter into a system full of pirates. That silly boy completed this successful roam with a bang.

More shenanigans soon...

Reposted sketch for the flaming diva...

Due to to the lack of a laptop I thought a picture of my dead girl sketch would suffice but here is the scanned-in piece...

Tuesday, 6 December 2011

'The Flaming Diva'

Nashh stood over the strangled remains of the young girl, she was barely 18. A drop of blood slowly started to trickle from her nose. Ariana, her name was, or so she said.

More frequently Nashh found himself getting into fights and sleeping with prostitutes or willing, naive young girls. He always had a tendency for violence when drunk or drugged but space combat relieved a lot of his inner anger. Planet-side-life simply wasn't something he fitted in with.

The girl had done him no wrong. She had in fact been very pleasurable and fulfilled most of his desires.

Ariana certainly wasn't his first kill, not even the first female but she was by far the most beautiful.

Slowly he gathered his belongings that were spread across the floor. From the back-right pocket of his jeans he pulled a small hip-flask, he swigged from the containing spirit within before covering the girl and the bed with what remained.

'Sorry' he mumbled, he meant it.

From the inside of his jacket he produced a pack of matches. He had picked them up from the same place he picked Ariana up from; 'The Flaming Diva''.

He smiled.

How fitting, he thought as he struck a few matches and lit up the bed...

Friday, 2 December 2011

There is always that last one...

'Hey man fill this up will ya!'

'Jack', as he made himself known by slid his mug forth along the bar-top.

The brash Minmatar Brutor wobbled and brushed passed Nashh whom was sat at the bar. The music was loud, too loud and not to his taste. But the tender had been good and got him what he wanted quick. Two girls, non capsuleers and way to drunk, danced sensually and kissed eachother, providing enough entertainment.

Jack the Brutor had been loud and annoying for a while but Nashh composed himself a few times and restrained his natural aggression. Not that temptation wasn't there to tell him a piece of his mind or hurt him, badly.

The tender looked from nashh back to the Brutor, sensing aggravation and figured it was best to just serve the guy to get him away from Nashh.

'What you want it filling up with bro?'

'What you think, Jack laughed out loud. Fuck sake, hound piss! Hahaha! '

The bartender didn't smile but picked up the mug and carried it over to the nearest beerpump.

Jack nudged Nashh and laughed out loud. 'What with? Ha!'

'It's a valid question', Nashh muttered.

Jack sized up Nashh for a moment, looking him up and down. Nashh Kadavr was wearing ripped jeans and worn combat boots with the laces undone. A white vest with oil stains on the side and some dark brown splatters on the chest area, sure to be dried blood, but not his own. His muscular and tattood arms and were shoulders clearly visible. His left arm depicted a battle scene running all the way up his left shoulder, his right arm had an ancient pistol on the inside of the forearm and the rest of the arm skulls. Lots of skulls. His right shoulder depicted a skull, crossed rapiers, angel wings and flames.
He was sitting on a barstool with a leather jacket draped over it, the same skull and rapier motif was visible on the back of the jacket and a gold bio- hazard sign behind a broken sword was carefully stitched on the left sleeve. In small letters below it it read; "Black Guard".

Jack smiled, squinting his eyes, drunk. He may have been drunk but knew he was not made to feel welcome next to Nashh. He didn't say another word until he got his beer and walked off with it, 'thanks'.

Nashh picked up his half empty beer and before he swigged it empty he nodded at the tender, 'last one brother, last one'.

The bartender smiled and nodded back. From a fridge in front of him he picked out another label-less bottle, opened it and put it on the bar in front of Nashh.
From a shelf behind him he picked up a thin, long necked bottle and filled up two small glasses of the containing golden brown liquid. On the label it read PIRAT rum.

'On me', the tender lifted a glass and held it aloft for a moment before emptying it in one go.

The Black Guard CEO followed suit.

The golden liquid ran down his gullet, firing up every possible taste sensation. Orange and caramel flavors lingered, even though there was no spirit burn his gums tingled.

'Holy fucksticks, leave me the bottle please brother'.

'Last one hey', the tender smiled.

'Last one...'

Farewell Mynxee (part 2)

Farewell Mynxee part 2

A short drive from the beach hut, at the very southern part of the Island, stood 'the lighthouse'. It wasnt really a lighthouse, but it was a tower and did at one time provide seafaring vessels with information about the local coast line and sandbanks. 'The lighthouse' had been decommissioned nearly 100 years back and the building was getting in a bad state of disrepair. Doors and windows had been removed and most walls were covered with writing or drawings. The top floor provided spectacular views of ocean-side of the island, the sea was much wilder on this side and huge waves crashed loudly into the rocky shore below.

'So where have your plugins gone?' Nashh quizzed as he stroked her red dreadlocks.

'Gone, I am done Nashh' she sighed and turned to look out into the distance. 'Its time for me to return back to my roots, my people'. 'I have sold my remaining properties and ships, I shall not have any worries for isk'.

Nashh seemed unfazed. She was probably joking, or at least she would realize the mistake she was making soon enough.

'My remaining clones have been destroyed or sold'.

'Can I have one?' Nashh smiled.

Mynxee smiled back and waited for him to realize what she was really saying.

In the distance a shuttle glided through a small patch of clouds. It was Mynxee's ride home.

'So...' Nashh started, 'you have no clones and no plugins?'

Mynxee didn't respond.

'You are mortal?'

'As I said... I am done. I intent to live the remainder of my natural life in peace and planet-side'.

'Why? What for? Where?'

Mynxee looked deep into his eyes and smiled. 'Its probably best if you didn't know'.

'So that's it?'

'My shuttle is here, I have to go.' The wind blew through her well-groomed dreads. 'I am driving north to the airstrip, I can give you a ride?'

Nashh remained silent.

'I am sorry' she stroked his cheek and kissed him on his lips. 'Farewell'.

Farewell Mynxee (part 1)

Farewell Mynxee part 1

In his brief break from daily space flight, Commander Nashh Kadavr choose the planet Intaki V to enjoy some well earned rest and recuperation.

Not all planets are suitable for capsuleers to find peace and quiet. Their implant slots quickly give away their position in society and there where numerous issues to be expected when mingling with the general public.

Intaki V however sports various capsuleer-only-resorts. Around the planets equator lay several small islands just off the coast of one of the main continents. The islands where entirely dedicated to servicing space dwellers and providing them with seclusion of prying eyes.

The east side of Bonbonair was well known for it's calm, turquoise sea and white sandy beaches. Prices for a weeks stay could easily feed other small countries on the same planet for a year but with his good friend Cyber being the majority shareholder of the resort, his stay was considerably cheaper. Not that it would have mattered. All the isk in the universe wouldn't have mattered.

News had come to him that she had registered herself here a few weeks ago. Perhaps not active and not found causing trouble that was recorded anywhere, but alive non the less.

The opportunity to see her again was worth anything to him. Her radiating presence and magnetic beauty had captured him many years back. He wasn't really sure if she would be as pleased to see him, in fact he wasn't sure what to say to her if anything at all. It was entirely possible she wouldn't even remember him...

There where no less than 7000 capsuleers on the island this time of year and a further twelve thousand staff members, service and security personnel. It wouldn't be easy to find her.

The aptly named 'Beach Hut' provided a little shade and refreshing drinks as he contemplated how long he would stay to look for her. He tried to work a little on his Neo-com but there where too many distractions. Mainly the brash Amarrian on the far side of the bar, telling tall tales of business and combat, most of it lies. He still carried a full high grade set of Slave Implants, not uncommon to own by revelers in Bonbonaire but unusual to come to a planetside beach-resort in a clone still carrying such luxuries.

'Hey' the Ammarian shouted over, 'Hey you, you are Kadavr right?'.

Nashh looked up from his Neo-pad and sipped his beer before nodding, eager not to end up in a conversation.

The Amarrian made his way over and placed a hand on Nashh's shoulder, 'barkeep! Get this man a drink on me!'

'No, honestly' Nashh interrupted, 'I am about to go'. With a big gulp he finished his beer and threw his payment on the bar-top.

'What? is my beer not good enough!?' the Ammar pod pilot barked as he tightened his grip on Nashh.

Nashh stood up from his barstool and straightened himself to find the guy was considerably taller than him. It didn't worry him, a punch to the throat could floor a man of any size.

'Get your hand...'

With a loud crash a glass smashed over the head of the heavily implanted Ammar before he sank to his knees and toppled over.

There she was, beautiful as ever, holding the remains of a glass bottle. 'Hey Nashhypoo, come on, time to go before the big guy wakes up'.

To be continued...

Nashh Shiskabobbed by T'amber...

So T'amber has made a valiant return to the game after a little time off and produced this for his eve-facebook buddies. Yes... those are corpses spiked on the pointy bits, apperantly I am the second spike from the bottom, hanging upside down behind Virtuozzo Eve.

Laptop broken, back soon (hopefully)

Where's Nashh? Acute and Anabaric where asked for the third time that day.

'Dunno' Ana's uninterested response came. He was not much more interested in the game of scrabble in front of him.

'Dunno, dunnie care?' Cyber snarled back.

Acute chuckled.

'What? You think that's funny?'

'No Cybs relax, he is probably in his office as usual'. Acute lay out some letters on the board and grinned some more.

Cyber looked down at the scrabble board filled with obscene, badly spelled words. 'Cumflap and dicktart are not even words you morons, and even if they would have been they wouldn't have been spelled like that!'.

Lex Fasces had now strolled up and joined the little group. He was eating a piece of fruit, it looked like a pear, and it's juices ran down his chin. 'Wha gwan?' he spluttered out whilst loudly chewing.

'We lost Nashh' Ana mumbled.

'Haha!' Lex exclaimed, spitting out some of his snack.

'What, you think that's funny?' Acute asked sheepishly as he smiled at Cyber.

'No you moron you spelled cumflap wrong' Lex chuckled and picked up another beige tile with the letter P.

'O my sweet lord...' Cyber slapped his righthand on his forehead. 'Lex, what the fuck?'.

'What? Oh Nashh... Have you checked his office?

'It's locked'

'His apartment? The pub?'

Four quiet beeps sounded, so close together it could have been just one.

Anabaric as usual would be the first to check his NEO-pad, but others followed suit. The men fell quiet for a moment then stared at Cyber.

Cyber's eyes widened before he mumbled; 'I am CEO?'.

(Finally) War is upon us

Lieutenant First Grade Acute, Cannonfodder Adex and Commander Kadavr set out in the early hours of Monday morning for a short training session.

Nashh had not flown a Merlin frigate class vessel for several years and never one of the double-webbing variety. On paper this ship has some great potential. After a few scraps with his Corp members it proved more difficult to handle than first thought.

'Rifter and Wolf on scan' Acute interrupted the friendly skirmish.

'Roger, peel of to the Amamake gate, Adex hang back here' Nashh instructed, 'I'll check that compound near the sun'.

A few seconds later and Acute reported his scan showed nothing but empty space.

'They are 100 clicks from me' Nashh replied, 'stand down, it's our own militia'. 'Let's roll on home boys', Nashh continued, 'I need a beer'.

'Roger that' came the reply.

Ten AU short of the Dal gate a second Rifter appeared on scan.

'When you guys land, jump straight through, I'll aggress this ... ah fucksticks, forget it, he is friendly'.

Seconds after Nashh landed next to the Minmatar Militia Rifter an alarm sounded from the Merlin on-board systems.

'Wait what the fuck, he is shooting at me..'

Adex and Acute now arrived as well, eager for blood.

'Do not aggress, I repeat do not aggress' Nashh commanded his troops. The -KBG- CEO fired a warning shot across the bow of the aggressor and announced his allegiance to the Militia in the local channel.

Expecting for the aggressing Pilot to have made a mistake, he turned off his weapons but used his two webs to gain enough distance to warp off.

Two more Minmatar Milita pilots landed on grid, called in by the first, and immediately opened fire on the Black Guard Merlin.

'Nashh! For fuck sake mate!' Acute exclaimed.

'Stand down officer, it's fine' Nashh smiled as he turned off all his active modules and prepared to warp his pod to safety.

A small blue flash preceded trails of grey smoke engulfing the Dal stargate in shadow and dust. With preparations made for getting the escape pod to safety the Merlin hull would prove the only casualty.

'Ok boys, now we can go home, beers are on me!'
