Fiction; Bastard Alliance Expansion > THE Black Rabbits

The boardroom adjacent to Nashh's office had not been as busy ever before. Several weeks of negotiating terms had successfully been completed and with a final signature from Gilgamesh the alliance was now official.

The Black Rabbit put down his pen and extended an open hand to the Bastard CEO. Nashh Kadavr smiled and grasped it firmly in return, 'welcome aboard, may our joined efforts prove to be fruitful and profitable'.

To Nashh's right, Dwaigon was already working on a data-pad sorting out several technical aspects of the newly found alliance. On the other side of the large oak table Lazy and Salash grinned as Ithica produced a large bottle of sparkling wine and began to unwrap the foil top.

As head of security and with a natural paranoia, Dwaigon, studying some data intently, shocked out of his concentration as the cork was expelled from the bottle.

The pirate commanders burst out laughing as the bubbly flowed generously.

'Security can wait until later Dwaig, relax, celebrate...' Nashh instructed, as he handed over a tall glass of the fizzing beverage.

Just then, a loud siren from hangar bay 12 interrupted the pleasantries. The newly formed alliance leadership stood in silence before all directing their eyes over to Nashh.

'On screen' Nashh instructed.

'Someone is attempting to board your Moros' Dwaigon smiled smugly, 'Security can wait, right boss?'

'It's Dame, motherf....'

Final countdown!

Only a few more days until #EVE_NT! hopefully after this weekend I can go back to a normal life and sleep at night. Pressure has been building over the last few weeks and a few let downs nearly broke my spirit.

Talk about biting of more than you can chew, shiiiit. From an intended little get-together the event has exploded into the beast it is now. I am producing a documentary with the help of a crew of 9, our gaming college next door has provided me with 5 crew to manage the tournaments we have going to have, never mind the logistics of the Bar and Restaurant having to cater 12 hours long for 150 beer hungry space geeks!. then of course there is the work and efforts required to get people to sponsor or donate stuff to keep the punters happy...

Almost everything is in place now and without the help of a considerable amount of people that I will thank on Saturday this would not have been possible. I am stressed and  anxious but also very excited. Cant wait!

A tale of internet spaceships

I realize I am probably late to the party again but I watched this last night and found it very good;

It highlighted to me that my lack of playing isn't that bad at all, the game is good but can be draining and time-consuming at times. What I really still pay 3 accounts worth of subscription for is to stay in touch with the community that EVE has generated.

EVE players are the best! and i cant wait to meet up with a load of you again in September at #EVE_NT!
